The power of a Formula 1 racing car, the fuel consumption

of a small car. It may not yet be possible on the road, but

induction hob cooking makes it possible in the kitchen. Our

table shows you clearly just how much faster and at the

same time how much more energy eﬃcient induction is.

Faster but still more energy eﬃcient

Forgotten to turn the hob oﬀ or accidentally switched it

on? No problem! The pan detection system only generates

heat when a pan is on the hob. Good news for cleaning

too – since the glass around the cooking zone remains cold

nothing can catch ﬁre and cleaning is accomplished with

a damp cloth.
